UFC star Bo Nickal sounds off on America's 'lost young men': Drinking, drugs, sex and fame won't fill the void

With America 250 right around the corner, the celebration of our nation's big day is sure to be a big one.

The festivities will vary greatly, but one of the most talked about events is the UFC Freedom 250 card happening on the White House lawn on Sunday.

ӣ��Ƶ' own Sean Hannity sat down with UFC star Bo Nickal on his "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" show to discuss the day, as well as his rocket to stardom and a bevy of other topics.

One topic the two touched on in particular was the growing epidemic of "lost boys" that is plaguing the youth of America and how it seems to lead to a destructive path for many young men around the country.

Hannity asked Nickal directly what his advice to young men who are in desperate need of role models would be, and the young fighter provided some surprisingly grounded words of wisdom.

"They're trying to fill a hole that's not going to be filled with the things that they want," Nickal explained. "Drinking, drugs, sex, money, fame ... and it's just going to continue to be empty."

When pressed on what his solution would be, Nickal turned to his faith.

"Look to your faith, look to community. Look to family... these are the types of things that have real value."

Nickal lamented the "selfish attitude" that has seemingly permeated throughout the younger generation of men in America, arguing that it may feel good to do things for yourself "in the moment," but it can destroy you in the long run.

By prioritizing your faith and relationships, Nickal argues that you will feel energized, quoting John 10:10 from the Bible.

"The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I come to bring you life so that you may live it to the full."

It's all very cogent from a young man (only 30 years old) who is right smack-dab in the middle of the very generation he is trying to guide out of the darkness.

When Hannity, clearly impressed by his words, offered the suggestion that Nickal should mentor young men, the UFC star didn't shy away.

"I feel passionate about helping young men for sure," said Nickal. "I like talking with them about life."

ӣ��Ƶ host Mark Levin warned America is approaching a critical breaking point as antisemitism surges nationwide, anti-ICE protests continue to erupt and concerns over cultural division dominate the political landscape.

In an appearance on "Hang Out with Sean Hannity," Levin argued the United States is facing a cultural and political crisis unlike anything he has witnessed before, but he insisted the country can still be saved if freedom-loving Americans unite and fight back.

"The rubber has hit the road right now, but there's still tens of millions of us who know that, who reject what's taking place," Levin said.

"And, as long as we talk to each other, stay united, organize, push back, clean out this ruling class, bring in a new ruling class that has the guts to do what a Trump does or a Ted Cruz does or several other people do, we can save this republic."

Levin and Hannity also discussed the increasingly left-wing trajectory of today's Democratic Party, with Levin circling back to the 2024 election cycle in which President Donald Trump faced an onslaught of accusations and legal challenges.

Levin called on Republicans to stand tall in the face of what he described as increasingly volatile opposition from the far left, warning that if the GOP wears "mittens" while Democrats wear "boxing gloves," the former risks getting "slaughtered."

Journalist Sara Carter is shedding new light on a private 2016 meeting at CIA headquarters, where she said then-CIA Director John Brennan questioned her about President Donald Trump and Michael Flynn.

Speaking on the "Hang Out with Sean Hannity" podcast, Carter described her tense sit-down with Brennan in 2016 and what she said it told her about the future.

"This was interesting. He asked me, 'How do you feel about President-elect Trump and Michael Flynn?'" Carter said of her 45-minute interview with Brennan in December 2016.

"I said to him, 'How do you want me to feel about President-elect Trump and Michael Flynn?' And it just ended right there," she said, noting that while the interview continued, the "chitchat" was over.

Flynn's name was hidden in intelligence transcripts of those calls, but declassified documents showed Brennan later requested that Flynn's identity be revealed. Flynn pleaded guilty in 2017 after admitting he lied to the FBI about discussions involving sanctions. Trump pardoned Flynn in 2020.

Franzese said Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy ordered FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover to target Franzese's father after Marilyn Monroe allegedly mentioned the mobster during an intimate encounter with Kennedy. Franzese said his father claimed he had an affair with Monroe after meeting her at Manhattan's Stork Club.

"Now this is my father telling me this, right? She's with Bobby Kennedy," Franzese said of the legendary starlet. "And he said, 'One night they were having fun together, and she screamed out my name.'

Sonny Franzese was arrested in 1967 and later convicted of orchestrating multiple bank robberies across the country. He was sentenced to 50 years in federal prison but was eventually paroled. In 2011, he was sentenced to prison again on racketeering conspiracy charges. He died in 2020 at age 103.

Franzese also detailed his gas tax scheme, which he said generated millions of dollars each week. He said the family collected gas taxes without paying the government and that he was personally bringing home around $3 million to $4 million a week.

Franzese said he personally took in approximately $3 million to $4 million per week, telling Hannity the operation generated enormous profits.

He said his girlfriend was not "deflecting" the relationship question but rather attempting to steer the interview to remain on topic. He claimed the network was creating a "false narrative" by publicizing "selectively edited clips."

CBS has faced similar controversy in the past, including interviews with former Vice President Kamala Harris and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

"They've done that with others, I'm not really sure what that policy is," he said.

"As we've seen recently, there have been more editing problems, and they go back to, over a couple of years, multiple examples of editing," Belichick added.

"I would never rule anything out," Eric Trump told Hannity when asked about a potential bid for the presidency. "I can tell you we've seen the best of it, and we've seen the worst of it."

Carr said nations like China and Russia are watching U.S. military actions, taking note of American capabilities, while referencing the lessons the nations learned from the United States' handling of the Afghanistan War.

"What do we think North Korea is learning? What do we think Iran is learning from what we did in Afghanistan and how we spent 20 years there? We had 20 years to prepare to exit, and that was the best that we could do?" Carr said on "Hang Out with Sean Hannity."

"They're taking lessons from that. That's why what we're doing now is a reset."

Carr said the conflict degraded the United States' power to control global order and stability, pointing to weak military strategy during the conflict.

OK, I think we can get away with X, Y and Z because the United States does not know how to effectively and efficiently deploy their military and employ their military."

Carr said China will "take lessons" if the United States fails in the Iran conflict and suggested it could give Beijing the military confidence to invade Taiwan.

"We have to win because if we do not win this thing, then they take another lesson, China specifically," he said. "They take lessons about Taiwan from that if we lose. So, the stakes are pretty high."

Carr also argued the U.S.-Iran conflict is less about the global economic impact, like surging oil prices caused by the Strait of Hormuz’s closure, and more about global order and stability.
