Kansas City Chiefs: What to know about the NFL team

The Kansas City Chiefs were originally established in 1960 as the Dallas Texans in the American Football League.

In 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City and adopted the Chiefs name. The Chiefs made a name for themselves by defeating the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV, becoming the second AFL team to triumph over an NFL team in the championship.

The Chiefs play their home games at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
